Q. What is the contract buyout promotion you are running?
A. if you signed up for ViaTalk's annual phone plan before 8/28/07 you will receive up to 3 months of your unused SunRocket contract time for free.
For example:
- If you had a 12 month contract with SunRocket and only used 10 months of service you will receive 2 months free.
- If you had a 12 month contract with SunRocket and only used 4 months of service you will receive 3 months free since the promotion is good for up to 3 months of service.
Q. How does the contract buy out work?
A.In order to apply the service credit associated with our Contract Buyout promotion, we will need a copy of your SunRocket Plan Information and Account Overview pages. You may fax them to 518-373-2093. Please include a cover sheet to ATTN: Billing Dept (Contract Buyout Promo).
If you do not wish to fax these documents, you may attach them to a ticket as a .jpg or .pdf file.
Service Credits may take up to 3 weeks. If you have any additional questions, you may contact our Billing Dept at 1-866-626-7150, option 2.
Q. Will I be able to keep my SunRocket phone number?
A. Number portability can not be guaranteed nor can portability be checked in advance for any given telephone number however most numbers are portable. When you receive your account information there will be instructions for submitting a Letter of Authorization for us to port your number to ViaTalk service.
Q. Can I use my SunRocket equipment?
A. Unfortunately SunRocket equipment is locked and can not be used with other services. If you have your own equipment that SunRocket did not provide you with then it should be able to be used with ViaTalk service.
Q. How long will it take for my account to be processed?
A. Due to a high volume of orders, many accounts are taking approximately 7-10 days to process, as well as 5-7 days to ship adapters. You may notice a charge on your credit card before you receive service. This is because we must verify your credit before you receive our service. Your contract renewal date will be from the day we ship you your adapter, not the day your credit card is charged.
Q. How long will it take for me to get my equipment?
A. We are currently experiencing a large amount of orders due to SunRocket's situation and are experiencing delays. We're doing our best and have increased staff to make sure the equipment will get out as soon as possible. Currently you can make your order a rush order for $9.95 to get higher priority.
Q. Do you have a trial period?
A. We offer a 14 day money back guarantee from the time you receive your equipment. Activation and shipping fees are not refunded with the money back guarantee.
